How does net:gain fit with proposals from regional consortia to implement the ICT component of ChangeUp?

net:gain is not about ‘one size fits all’. It is about working with stakeholders to maximise the potential of existing ICT infrastructure for the benefit of the sector.

As part of their development, net:gain centres are funded to develop both new and existing partnerships, to ensure active signposting to, and coherence with, other ChangeUp initiatives. As the programme develops, many centres are negotiating special arrangements to ensure that their members can call on circuit riders, ICT health checks, and many other services that may form part of ChangeUp plans or other opportunities.

Part of the role of net:gain centres is to change need for ICT support services into demand – including demand for the range of local, regional and national programmes - through better understanding of ICT.
