The products at the Okehampton Farmers market are not those that I would normally buy - too exotic and often not local farm produce. Aimed at incomers, second homers and tourists I suspect. The local, traditional market in Hatherleigh has better products, often cheaper than the supermarkets, and brought in by local growers and producers.

I think the ruralnet|2006 Farmers Market will be more like the Hatherleigh one. East Midlands Fine Foods will be seeking to impress Centre Parcs who will want produce to be local, of high quality and cost competitive.
