ruralnet|uk are pleased to confirm that the venue for ruralnet|2005 will be the Ramada Jarvis Hotel, Bramhope, near Leeds in West Yorkshire. David Head, Conference Organiser said,
"We chose the Ramada Jarvis for its relaxed and friendly atmosphere, which complements the nature of our events and makes it exactly the right place to meet our requirements. The venue has space for a large exhibition, several areas with comfortable seating for networking and impromptu meetings. The venue is close to Leeds but in a rural setting close to the Golden Acre Park and Nature Reserve."
Thanks to the commitment at an early stage of main sponsors, Yorkshire Forward, ruralnet|uk have been able to start planning details of the event.
Delegates are already booking places to take advantage of the discounts being offered (go to www.ruralnetuk.org/conference for further information), and sponsorship enquiries are developing well.
"Accessible... informative.. communal... valuable...": the verdicts of last year's delegates highlight the aspects we aim to take forward for ruralnet|2005, which is scheduled for 12 and 13 of October. Full programme details will be available early summer 2005.
Participants from throughout the UK and from all backgrounds with an interest in rural development are expected to attend.
In addition, Ramada Jarvis have again agreed to sponsor two free delegate places for the voluntary sector.
