ruralnet|uk is pleased to have been shortlisted for the upcoming Warwickshire Employer of Choice Awards, run by Warwickshire County Council. This reflects the ruralnet|uk approach to work-life balance and commitment to its people.
David Head, Company Secretary, said "Win or lose, I'm delighted that we have been shortlisted, this is a great achievement for an organisation in only its third year of independence. As a small organisation it's critical that we retain the people we develop here, and we believe this is best done by providing an environment in which people feel motivated and comfortable. Our flexible working policies certainly contribute to that".
ruralnet|uk continues its programme of steady, managed growth, with the announcement of a new Development Adviser post, a vacancy that has emerged due to the need for an experienced social enterprise manager to work on the net:gain project. Funded by the Home Office ChangeUp programme, this project is designed to build the ICT capacity of Voluntary and Community Organisations.
Recruitment is now underway and details are at http://www.ruralnetuk.org/contact/vacancies.htm
