Rural regeneration charity, ruralnet|uk are pleased to confirm that 30 places at their annual conference, ‘ruralnet|2006 - Exploiting Your Rural Capital’ have been sponsored by The Commission for Rural Communities so that voluntary sector groups can be represented.
This is the 4th year that this high-profile event in the rural regeneration field has been supported by the Commission for Rural Communities. The event also attracts support from regional development agencies, the national government and rural communities themselves.
ruralnet|2006 will be held on 11 – 12 October at Center Parcs Conference Centre, Sherwood Forest in Nottinghamshire. It will look at how various assets can be exploited for the benefit of rural areas, including social, political, economic, heritage, infrastructure and other physical assets.
The sponsorship is open to anyone who would benefit from the event from the rural voluntary and community sector in England.

Delegates came from across the UK and included the key rural regeneration decision and policy makers, representatives of the public, private, voluntary and community sectors. Free places were provided by Defra and Commission for Rural Communities for 50 grassroots community groups to ensure their participation.
