I thought it was extravagant bringing two spare tyres but half way through day 2 the second one has gone sausage shaped.

Oh dear. Strange forces at work, obviously, as it looks like Luke's cycle helmet has gone all soft and woolly too.... (The one he promised his mother he would wear at all times;-)

Well I'm home and you're probably still pedaling. BUT, take heart, looking at the map you will be nearly half way up the country by tonight when you reach Glossop (only 4 roads Ian!). It's been a long hard day but not once have you stopped smiling or cracking jokes. I have had such a good time with you all. Loads of laughs and a privilage to keep you all fuelled up. Keep the sudacreme/vaseline going. Keep me posted on progress. Thinking of you. Trish xx
